25 Carroll Street began its life in 1898 when Francis Romeo of the Brooklyn Macaroni Company constructed the building to house his pasta manufacturing business. A five-story masonry and heavy-timber structure, it still retains the marks of its industrial past. Now it has been converted into 17 lofts, with an emphasis on authenticity and quality design.
