Lindsay Barton Barrett is a Senior Vice President and Associate Broker at the Corcoran Group in New York City, and is married to Alex Barrett. She has worked as a broker with Corcoran selling townhouses, cooperative and condominium apartments in Manhattan and Brooklyn since 2003. Lindsay is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York and a retired member of the New York State bar association.
Lindsay works directly and extensively with Barrett Design and Development on a consulting basis, advising the firm from the earliest phases of acquisition and programming. Lindsay assists the company in designing properties that fit the needs of buyers in the marketplace. Her active brokerage business allows Lindsay to recognize trends in the market as they happen: what is
selling well, and what buyers are looking for but cannot find.
After graduating from New York City’s Columbia Law School in 2000, Lindsay worked first in the corporate group of Reboul McMurray Hewitt Maynard & Kristol, and then in the real estate practice group at Gibson Dunn & Crutcher, before making the transition to real estate brokerage. Her legal experience provides insight into all sides of complex transactions.
In early 2003, Lindsay began working as an Associate Broker at the Corcoran Group. She had quick success at Corcoran, having found her niche. Since that time, she has been promoted to Senior Vice President, and been lauded for her exemplary sales record including being the
top producer in her Union Square office in 2007, 2009 and 2010. More importantly, she has left in her wake a trail of happy buyers and sellers. She has partnered with Barrett Design and Development since the company’s inception in 2005, and has been the exclusive sales agent for all of their projects.
Lindsay received her BA in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University in 1997. She and Alex live in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn with their two children.
